India’s First Underwater Metro To Start Soon
India’s first underwater Metro train in India will be operational in Kolkata’s Hooghly River. The metro train will run at a speed of 80 km per hour.
Announced by Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Thursday.
According to media report, Kolkata metro train is spending Rs 8,572 crore on this entire project. The 520 metre twin Metro tunnel is built 30 metres below the riverbed.
